A great end to the year for Oddo Vins & Domaines
As the harvest comes to an end at the various estates of the family-owned Oddo Vins & Domaines group in France and abroad, the end of the year 2022 is remarkable
“The 2022 harvest is exceptional, both in Sancerre and in Sicily, as well as in our Oddo Vallon des Glauges estate in Coteaux d’Aix en Provence. The volumes and the quality of the grapes are present, reflecting all the work we have done to achieve excellence, and to promote a model of committed organic and biodynamic viticulture at the heart of our estates,” explains Lorraine ODDO, director of Oddo Vins & Domaines. “Pluriculture today reflects our commitment to the preservation of the environment, trying to protect our resources as much as possible against climate change.”
As a symbol of this work carried out for years in the vineyards with the aim of offering ever better wines, the vineyards have all seen their wines rewarded by international sommeliers, including the Taaibosch Crescendo 2019, the latest to be rated, which obtained a near-perfect score of 98/100 in the annual South African report by Tim Atkins, an international expert who is very attached to South African wines.
The year 2023 already promises to be full of opportunities for Oddo Vins & Domaines, starting with obtaining the certification for organic wine production for all the estates, in order to highlight a committed, respectful and quality viticulture, while improving the quality of our wines.
Oddo Vins & Domaines wines can be found on our online store, and more recently in the cellars of Repaire de Bacchus (for the Rosé Oddo Vallon des Glauges, the white Serra Ferdinandea and the Taaibosch Crescendo), as well as on Twil.
